...it's that time of year again...& I'm entranced dreaming of the fluffy stuff & cozy fires...

...looking forward to some family time in the snow starting next week- off to the US for a much needed break! hope everyone has a great holiday- my postings will be sporadic over the next couple weeks... x mvg

...winter veg salad...

ok, I know I don't usually post about food or recipe's, BUT...this one is too good not to share.  I can't stop eating this delicious fruit, nut, & winter veggie salad!  Please share with all of your friends- you won't be disappointed!  It's nice served slightly warm while snuggled up by the fire with a glass of red wine....I'm going to make it again tonight as well...{xx mvg}

Halloween weekend was filled with blazing fires, the chill of fall, hiking, butternut squash soup & red wine in Big Bear.  I'm really looking forward to winter in Vermont followed by adventures in the mountains of France with my husband- it's going to be a good year. xo
