Fall is upon us & winter is not far behind.  I long for the changing of the seasons now that I live in perpetual summer- nonetheless here are some of my seasonal favorites for throws.  Grab a good book, start a fire, drink some tea & cozy up- wishing I could.

Twisted lights & bowls by Erwin Zwiers- the collection was introduced at the Elle Inside Design event in the Lloyd Hotel in Amsterdam.  These gorgeous forms are made entirely out of bent plywood!  They remind me of oyster shells- each one different from the next....love love...

One of the most beautiful cities I've ever been to -situated conveniently on the sea- waves, baguettes, cheese, wine, & brimming with interior & architectural inspiration- doesn't get much better- can't wait for our adventure!

...from madrid with love...

My husband & I just returned from a trip to Biarritz France by way of Madrid & San Sebastian, Spain.  Although we didn't get to see much of Madrid I was blown away by the interior architecture of the Madrid airport...soft waves of bamboo panels on the ceiling offset by steel, cement, & glass below.  It really was a grand space with the high vaulted ceilings & beautiful light.  The airport was nearly empty on our initial pass through because of a worker strike in Spain so we really were able to get a good feel for the space.  I usually hate airports, but I loved this one....xox
