Ireland Textiles

I'm really loving Kathryn Ireland's Mexico meets Morocco textile collection- especially the Tangier, Marrakech, Fez Palm prints.  Great fabric to reupholster an occasional chair or recover throw pillows with for your beach bungalow or mountain retreat.  I envision these fabrics paired with dark wood, sheepskin rugs (faux of course), rattan chairs, recycled glass, & faux antlers. xox

Tangier

Tangier- my favorite colorway (cherry-but really has a nantucket red vibe-love)

Fez Palm

Marrakech- the painterly feel in this print rocks!

South African Queen

South African designer Laurie Owen specializes in creating serene & organic spaces across the globe.  Her main projects include boutique hotels & lodges in Africa in which local materials are sourced.  Eco-friendly & luxurious!

A little too neutral for me- I usually like a little more contrast & color, but beautiful & inspiring nonetheless!

Wasson's Boho Bungalow

This mama is gorgeous & so is the place she calls home.  Wasson- equal parts model, designer, & stylist has an eye for interiors as well.  Jeeeeeeesh!  Mixing all sorts of genre's & time periods her bungalow is a true work of art.  Laid back & eclectic with touches of american indian & bohemian influences.  I'm in love.

Meet Me At The-Waldorf

Affordable vintage inspired jewelry- here it is!  Erica Weiner has pulled together a collection made up of curiosities that she scours the country for and transforms into jewelry.  More than half of the materials used throughout the line are vintage and/or re-purposed & the entire collection is handmade in NYC.  Bonus is that all packing materials are reused & all packaging is made up of 90% post consumer recycled materials.  As if it couldn't get much better the company offsets 300% of their carbon output & donates 5% of all profits to charities.  Absolutely check out this line....affordable, environmentally friendly, socially responsible, & beaut.  www.ericaweiner.com.  Let me know what you think!  Ciao!

DANNIJO

Love the boho/rocker vibe from this sisterly duo.  Some of their stuff is a little over the top for me, but could effortlessly be paired with jeans and a tee and look great.  I heart the Hendricks necklace which was inspired by the infamous pen necklace on Mad Men.

Check out DANNIJO along with Rebecca Minkoff, Deepa Gurnani, Dolce Vita, Yumi Kim, Suzanna Dai & Wink on February 17th at the W Hotel in Times Square for the launch of their Global Glam Collections for the W Hotel Spring/Summer 10.

Chic Boutique Hotel

LOVE the Chamberlain Hotel in West Hollywood.  This story of love at 1st sight is two fold for me.  I fell in love with the interior decor the second I stepped foot into the lobby & I fell in love with the man I'm going to marry the second I stepped into the restaurant.  It's nothing short of ironic (but typical) that when I dug a little deeper to see who was the master mind behind this gorgeous space today it was Kelly Wearstler (the subject of my last entry) & her protege David McCauley.

Inspiration & decor seems to be pulled from several different genre's and era's throughout this boutique hotel . There's no doubt however that there are both Chinese & Morrocan influences- which I adore.

In the sitting area a chic marble herringbone floor & gorgeous sea foam green glass lamps stand out against an eclectic mix of furnishings.  The restaurant is tonal but not any less striking.  It gives off an old greenhouse vibe with a wall of windows and a backdrop of lush banana plants.  Sage green, turquoise, sea foam, & white are married together to create a serene atmosphere while lantern inspired pendants, Moroccan floor tiles and decorative coral atop sconce shelves add elements of intrigue.  Eclectic, chic, & inspiring!  A must see for sure....http://www.chamberlainwesthollywood.com/

Kelly Wearstler

Kelly Wearstler recently launched an amazing dinnerware collection for SFERRA & Pickard.  A subdued but gorgeous palette of soft blues, grays, beiges, & browns.  For sure reminiscent of a hazy day at the beach.  I'm in love with the flame stitch/chevron pattern & the organic shapes and textures she uses throughout.  Here's a sneak peak below.  You can check out this designers interiors & product at http://www.kwid.com
