...yarn & paint...


...someday there will be a large garage art studio in our house where anything goes...glitter & paint covered for sure...here is a fun printmaking project to do with the kiddies...you can view the complete tutorial here, but here is a quick step by step below....x mvg

1.  materials needed: yarn, paint, brushes, & a few wooden blocks (or anything wrap-able in the shape you want)
2.  start by wrapping the wooden block with the yarn & fasten at the back with a knot and/or secure with a  piece of masking tape.
3.  apply the paint to the block- the yarn can be quite absorbent at first, so you may want to try testing on a scrap piece of paper first...
4.  ...then start stamping
